I am in a 2 person room so there's just one bunk bed. It's a smaller room but it looks like it will be ok with two people. My roommate hasn't arrived yet because she is a quarter student. I believe the quarter students arrive on June 11th. My days this week have started at 9 am and last til midnight or 1am. We have had a lot of meetings of ministry trainings and a lot of time and activities to get to know one another. Next week, our days are filled with working and meetings nightly. I have an awesome Action Group and Impact Group. We also had a sharing time yesterday and 13 people were led to Christ on the boardwalk! It was the coolest thing. I went out sharing with my new friend Lauren and we were able to talk to three girls (sisters and their friend) and they all received Christ! Please be praying for Jovanna, Christina, and Victoria.
You may be curious about the title. Well, the Lord has provided me with a job at Mickey D's! Six of us were hired and my first day is on Wednesday. It's in walking distance so that's really nice. I am so stoked. I don't think I can really explain why I am so excited to work at McDonald's this summer.
So yes, my week has been filled with many Golden Arches. I have met so many new friends, we celebrated Wonderbear's birthday on the boardwalk, the Lord provided me with a job, 13 people received Christ, I received my first piece of mail for the summer, and I am just happy to be here!
